You might remember Twenty Eleven if you were at all into Houston's music scene between 2008-2013.
The group features rappers Brad Gilmore & Tre, singer Dallas Jones, producer Avery Davis aka -Us., and DJ Motai. They formed in high school and released two albums.
Twenty Eleven returns this week with "Too Much," a "vibey" new tune that showcases a newfound maturity and polish. Listen below to the premiere.
The group has been largely inactive for the past few years, but each member has pursued a solo career. Gilmore is a TV and radio host. Davis has found success as solo artist -Us. and as the drummer for Wild Moccasins. Jones is now in Los Angeles; Motai has continued his DJ and production career; Tre is a writing teacher.
